Nothing can tip the scales from relaxed to regal quite like an updo, and it works the other way round, too. But whether you’re working a scruffy second-day topknot, adding a side of chic with a ballerina bun, or going all-out wow with an intricate braided design, hair up is always a great idea.
There's no hair discrimination either, with plenty of options for long, short and medium length hair, curly, wavy or straight. Contrary to opinion, the updo is a style everyone can participate in and absolutely slay (cue Margot Robbie's elegant swept-aside updo at this years BAFTAs). We may not be blessed with her heavenly face, but that 'do is ours to replicate - simply brush over to one side, twist in the opposite direction, pin in place, and tada!
