Class is in session and Rihanna is your teacher.
If you've day-dreamed about being taught about makeup by Rihanna or wondered what the secret really is behind her enviably glowing skin, listen up.
The singer and entrepreneur is adding "teacher" to her already-impressive CV, thanks to the Fenty Beauty University, which starts this week.
A series of virtual makeup lessons (the first of which took place in early September), the University gives "students" an opportunity to learn how to create some of Rihanna's most-loved makeup looks from her music videos and red-carpet appearances, while also helping you nail the basics, including a beautiful skin finish.
The classes will be led by the celebrity make-up artists behind those looks—Hector Espinal and Priscilla Ono—both of whom are the masters behind "Fenty Face," the nickname given to the super-glowy yet natural (not glittery or ashy) skin finish that Rihanna might as well have trademarked.
Broken down into three categories over three weeks, the sessions will focus on achieving that "lit-from-within" glow for all skin tones and types (Covering all the Bases); mastering some iconic looks for your eyes (All Eyez on Me); and discovering the secret to bold lipstick (Perfecting Your Pout).
Found on the Fenty Beauty social media platforms, the classes will take the form of how-to video tutorials with step-by-step instructions. There will also be interactive quizzes to test your knowledge, and chances to win special Fenty Beauty prizes or be named "Student of the Week" on the brand's Instagram account, too.
A host of other makeup artists and experts from around the world will also be on hand to help guide you, meaning the classes are designed to suit makeup aficionados who are super confident with an eyeshadow palette, all the way through to those picking up a brush more-or-less for the first time.
We can't wait for class to be in session.
