She is known for her grungy take on the red-carpet style, but Billie Eilish arrived at the Oscars 2022 wearing her sleekest beauty look to date. Resplendent in a black ruffled Gucci gown, she swapped her usual tousled shag cut for something with a little more polish. Gone was the mussed-up texture we’re so used to seeing from Eilish, and in its place was an ultra-shiny raven lob, which flicked-up ’50s-style at the ends.
With a sweeping side fringe perfectly cut to sit atop her eyebrow, and some face-framing layers, the ’50s flick has previously been worn by everyone from Jennifer Lopez to Kylie Jenner. But, of course, Eilish naturally gives it a cool-girl edge, taking it out of Stepford Wife territory and making it much more Joan Jett.
